OnePlus 5 Update: New Teaser Speculates Phone's Launch; Believes to Come with IP68 Rating

Leaked photos of a phone with a wallpaper containing the phone's signature line gave more teaser to what is said by the experts as the "flagship killer of 2017". The OnePlus 5 launch rumors have been adding more hype upon its launch this year.

The teaser shows a phone with the caption "Never Settle", the signature line of OnePlus 5 and its previous smartphones. While there is not clear information with the teaser, it sets various rumors and speculations about the phone.

Gizbot has reported that the teaser shows the Chinese manufacturer of OnePlus is launching a black variant of the OnePlus 3T, which could happe on March 15 with Colette Paris as its partner. 

The teaser could also indicate that the launch of the OnePlus 5 is near. Rumor mills have been showing that the teaser she light on the phone since there are few more months for the launch of the OnePlus 5.

The OnePlus 5 smartphone is believed by the people to hit the shelves with a 5.5-inch dual-curved edge AMOLED display with FHD 1080p resolution. With this display, the phone could be in comparison with the upcoming flagships from the bigger tech companies in the smartphone market.

The rumored storage capacities of the OnePlus 5 is 64GB and 128GB. This is not really surprising as the phone's previous edition arrived in the market as one of the first smartphones with 6GB RAM.

Earlier reports suggested that the OnePlus 5 could feature a ceramic build like the Mi Mix. Now, reports like the article in Nashville Chatter are suggesting the phone might have an all-glass design that could give a premium look. 

It is observable that most flagships are water and dust resistant. The OnePlus 5 is speculated to have an IP68 rating that will make it resistant to water and dust.

In addition, OnePlus 5 is als rumored to have a USB Type-C port in the concept video below. This feature was absent in its 3T phone.
