HTC One M9 Update: How to Get Android 7.0 OTA Update in T-Mobile Carrier Devices

Consumers who use HTC One M9 via T-Mobile can get the new update on their phones. The American carrier recently rolled out the new Android 7.0 Nougat OTA update to the 2015 flagship device.

HTC One M9 Android 7.0 OTA update weighs 1.1GB that brings a software version 4.27.531.6; the user must also note to install the latest Android security patch on the phone which covers the month of February and March with the cases of Google devices. The update will bring all enhancements and features that were associated with Android 7.0 Nougat on the HTC One M9 which includes the revamped notification and battery manager Doze mode. Android Central also noted that users can expect sets of system wide range performance improvements and serious bug fixes; packed with the said OTA update.

As said earlier, HTC One M9 Android 7.0 Nougat OTA update is a bit hefty size at 1.1GB where consumers are all recommended to connect to the internet using a reliable Wi-Fi hotspot in order to download it properly. Cellular data can also be used to download the update. However, make sure the phone's battery capacity is at 50 percent and above perhaps connect to its power source before proceeding to upgrade the whole process.

HTC Company once stated that HTC One M9 will join 2016 HTC 10 including the midrange HTC One A9 to receive the update of Android 7.0 Nougat last year. According to GSM Arena, the company has managed to keep its promise in devices such as HTC M1o and HTC One M9 in all of its unlocked models where users of HTC One M9 were all glad to see the OS in now rolling out to a 2015 flagship carried by T-Mobile.

Meanwhile, the Android 7.0 Nougat OTA Update for HTC One M9 will also be available in Egypt where it carries a software version 4.28.401.3 and weighs at 652MB. Similar to T-Mobile carriers, this update in Egypt will also feature the latest Android security patch as wells as the other important system enhancements.
