Xiaomi Mi 6 News: Leaked Image of Xiaomi’s Flagship Tips Dual Camera Setup; Device Coming in Three Variants

Xiaomi Mi 6 release date has no real clarity and it is reported that the flagship has been delayed due to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 deal with Samsung. The tech enthusiasts all over the world are waiting for the release of this Smartphone.

There are many leaks about Xiaomi Mi 6 and a recently leaked image from Weibo, which was first spotted by PlayfuDroid, shows the glossy black color variant from front and back. The rear design seems to sport certain edges just like Mi Note 2.

Xiaomi Mi 6 is said to carry a dual camera setup at the back of the phone, supporting a dual-LED and dual-tone flash. A Home Button is also seen to house on the bottom of the front display. According to Techvicity, there's an unofficial news claims that the Smartphone selfie camera will have a retractable lens and will be able to retract if it's not in use.

It is expected that Xiaomi Mi 6 front camera will sport a 7-megapixel lens alongside the 24-megapixel lens for the rear camera. The android flagship will measure a 5.2-inch QHD 2K OLED display with dual curved edges.

Previous leaks suggest that Xiaomi Mi 6 might have two variants just like the Xiaomi Mi 5, however, other leak states that Xiaomi's latest phone will come in three variants. The newest leaked image could be showing one of the new designs of those upcoming three variants. Android Headlines gives out a report that Xiaomi Mi 6 is also suggested to have a ceramic edition.

Xiaomi Mi 6 premium variant is predicted to bring in a dual curved display. The Xiaomi Mi 6's Snapdragon 821 SoC mobile variant might be launched on April 16, but the premium one will be delayed until May 2017, at least until Samsung releases its Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.

Based on the previous specifications leaks, it's expected that Xiaomi Mi 6 premium will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoS, coming with a 6GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage. It is estimated that Xiaomi's newest model will run on Android 7.0 Nougat system out of the box along with MIU 8, fueled by a 3000 mAh battery capacity. It is believed that Xiaomi's Smartphone will be priced at around CNY 2,499 (around Rs. 25,000), as reported by NDTV.
