‘Pokémon GO’: Mobile Game Will Face Its Major Revamp Soon; Here are Some Reasons Why

Not less than a month ago Niantic CEO John Hanke claimed that the company will release one major update every quarter in a year. Many fans have already waiting for the next update of "Pokémon GO," for the changes to the mobile game.

According to Mirror UK, one of the updates that will hit the mobile game "Pokémon GO" is the revamp of Combat Power (CP) which competitive players have already been expecting this update. As noted by the previous interview, CEO John Hanke stated that there are first of the four major updates coming in 2017; every quarter will drop one major update.

CEO John Hanke claimed that due to real time problems with their platform and technology; Niantic Company has limited time to innovate. There are many aspects of the game are incomplete which includes the Gym System needs revamping in "Pokémon GO."

He also added that there will be a rework in the game's gym aspect which will need more people and more teamwork that gives more reward and incentive in "Pokémon GO." As noted, Niantic will focus to improve Players Vs Players (PVP) in the game's next update in which many competitive players are already expecting for the CP revamp that considers CP and Gym rework will go hand-in-hand.

According to Birmingham Mail, the upcoming Gym rework will accompany the CP revamp which leads to the next undeniable scenarios that make two possible ways where Niantic can apply the current CP system. First, the revamp of CP formula, there will be a change in CP formula in which more Pokémon will be introduced into the competitive mobile game "Pokémon GO."

It was also said that it will improve the competitive level of the game. Second is the advantages and disadvantages in terms of the game's improvement type which is similar to the original series which improves the current advantage/disadvantage system that will allow more complex battles in every gym; Niantic will soon allow 2x and 4x advantages which are adapted from its original Pokémon series.

In the upcoming update of "Pokemon GO," Niantic players can expect the revamp of the CP system that will introduce more complex and competitive battles which will open into a bigger and much better Gym system. The mobile game will introduce major changes to cure PvP system issues throughout the entire year.
