The leaks about Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus have turned into a torrent of information. While the launch of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus are just a few days away from, the leaks have already told almost us everything about the upcoming flagships. The latest one is coming form of press renders which show the device from two angles and various color options along with price details.
The leak is coming from noted tipster @evleaks, also known as Evan Blass, who has shared the press shots of the Samsung Galaxy S8. In the leaked images, the smartphone is seen in Black Sky, Orchid Grey, and Arctic Silver color options; nevertheless, the device is expected to come in more color options.
The leaked press render repeats all previous rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S8 with a large dual edge display with no Home Button embedded in the front. In the images the volume buttons and dedicated Bixby button can be seen on the left edge and the power button in seen on the right edge of the Galaxy S8. Unluckily, the back of the Galaxy S8 is not revealed in this leak, but previous ones have suggested a centered camera setup with a fingerprint scanner next to it. The Samsung logo is also seen reside at the center as well.
Evan Blass has also leaked the prices of the both Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. According to leak Galaxy, S8 price will start at EUR, while the Galaxy S8 Plus at EUR 899. On the other hand, new GearVR will be priced at EUR 129, new Gear360 will be priced at EUR 229 and an accessory which could provide a Continuum-like called DeX could be priced at EUR 150, as reported by Forbes.
Previous leaks have suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will feature a 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch (1440x2560 pixels) Super AMOLED pressure sensitive display. Both devices are expected to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 835 SoC, however, some markets will get the home-grown Exynos 8895 chips.
Both Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will be running on Android 7.0 Nougat, and will also get a support of dual-SIM slots. On the camera front, there is likely to be a 12-megapixel dual pixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front camera. The device will be water and dust resistant will be having an iris scanner support and boast 3000mAh and 3500mAh batteries respectively, as per NDTV.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones are set to launch at the company's Galaxy Unpacked 2017 on March 29 in New York, and it will kick off at 11 am EDT. The said event had been announced during Mobile World Congress this year.
