Spoilers for “Dragon Ball Super” Chapter 22 state that Vegeta leveled up in strength and turned into a Super Saiyan God, the red form, for the first time in his life. He transformed after rigorous training and his transformation is stable. But the transformation is on the manga series, while the anime is way behind and currently only on its Universal Survival arc.
Hair Turns Red
As part of Vegeta’s transformation in "Dragon Ball Super,” his hair also turned red which also shocked Goku Black whom he is fighting. Blasting News points out that the manga and anime have different stories, with some of the characters still alive in the manga no longer in the anime. The huge difference could mean the red form of Vegeta would not be featured in the Tournament of Power in the anime.
Spoilers for “Dragon Ball Super” Episode 83 say that Vegeta resisted joining the fight because his daughter with Bulma is about to be born. Vegeta wants to watch over the fighters but his only choice, for now, is to join Goku who is trying to complete the 10 members of Universe 7 who would battle in the Tournament of Power. Given that Vegeta has immense power, Goku is expected to ask him to join the team, Blasting News reports.
Universal Destruction
The Tournament of Power martial arts battle of the Omni-Kings, made at Goku’s request, is about to start and would trigger universal destruction, Comicbook reports. “Dragon Ball Super” is shown at 7:15 p.m. CST on Crunchyroll on Saturdays, while Toonami would air the English dub at 11:30 p.m. on Adult Swim Saturdays.
Followers of “Dragon Ball Super” note that the fight between Universe 7 and Universe 9 should be predictable, based on strength, since Universe 9 placed last in the rankings among the 12 universes joining Tournament of Power.
