‘Legend of Heroes’ Latest News: Nihon Falcom’s ‘Trails of Cold Steel III’ Prologue & Character Details; Expected Release Date is Revealed

The Japanese developer and publisher write on its official website the new information and screenshots of Nihon Falcom's "The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III." There will be more details of the prolog and characters that are unveiled. One of the screenshots can be seen above (from right to left: Rean Schwarzer, Juna Crawford, Altina Orion, and Kurt Vander).

Nihon Falcom's "The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III" game's setting takes place in the year 1206 of Septian Calendar, about a year and a half after the end of the second installment. The story will still center on Rean Schwarzer, who now has graduated from the Thors Military Academy and become an instructor at the new Thors Military Academy Raves II Branch School in the capital of Erebonian Empire.

Rean will lead the Special Duty Division (Class VII), which only has three students. The Three students are Juna Crawford, Kurt Vander, and Altina Orion, which all of them also serving as the main characters of Nihon Falcom's "The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III."

Nihon Falcom's "The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III" official website further tells each character's background. Juna Crawford is a girl from the recently-annexed Crossbell State who gets a proposal from a certain someone to attend the Thors II Branch School.

Kurt Vander is coming from a prestigious family and is the younger brother of Mueller Vander. He got a recommendation from his brother to enroll in the Thors II Branch School. Altina Orion is a girl who belongs to the Imperial Intelligent Agency, goes by the codename 'Black Rabbit'. She appeared in the previous two games as an antagonist and her motive in this third sequel to Nihon Falcom's "The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III" remains a mystery, as reported by Gematsu.   

According to RPGamer, Nihon Falcom's "The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III" is scheduled to release this fall in Japan, exclusive on Playstation 4 platform.
