Apple's iOS 11 will soon be released to the public this year's 2017 after revealing its beta launch this coming June 5-9, 2017 at WWDC. The current version iOS 10 was released in September 2016 and still continues to have an update throughout the year 2017; its major update was said to hit this spring.
The beta version of iOS 10.3 was released to the developers on February 20 which includes new features that will come to all iPhones and iPads via an update in the next couple of months this year. It's true that iOS 10.3 will come sooner than expected but tech enthusiasts are now looking forward to meeting iOS 11.
According to Macworld UK, it was speculated that almost 200,000 apps will be purged from App Store soon the iOS 11 will be launched. It was said that Apple is now planning to kill apps that don't support 64bit processors which can be concluded that the next iOS update will drop support for older 32bit-only apps. Apple's iPhone 5S, launched in 2013 was the first iPhone with a 64bit processor which triggers the company's developers to make new apps that will be supported by a 64bit processor as well as the 32bit processors for older iPhones; in addition to updating older apps to make them 64bit-compatible.

Last 2015, Apple was required that the new apps should support 64bit in order to be approved but older 32-bit only apps still remained in the App Store. However, the change is coming as soon as iOS 11 will be launched. As for the iOS 20.3 betas 1, users on 32bit apps were now facing issues and warning that the apps won't work anymore with the future versions of iOS. Developers want to improve the performances of these apps; the 32bit apps might slow down your iDevice, as noted by CBR Online.
Apple's World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2017 will start this coming June 5-9 in San Jose, California at the McEnery Convention Centre. Consumers can expect that iOS 11 will be announced on the first night of the event.
