Bandai Namco has announced that it will also introduce two more guest characters from other game series through this DLC, but no official news about who they might be.

Bandai Namco has provided an outline of "Tekken 7" Post-Launch DLC content, coming in three batches. It believes that the DLC will make fans excited about the game series.

The first batch of "Tekken 7" Post-Launch DLC will be released this summer across all supported platforms. This DLC will include a new game mode and over 50 new costumes.

For the Second and the third batched of "Tekken 7" Post-Launch DLC are made public respectively this winter 2017 and next spring 2018. Both will feature an exclusive playable guest character from other video games' license.

These batches of "Tekken 7" Post-Launch DLC will also carry a special stage and special costumes for the guest characters. Twinfinite reports that all three batches of DLC can be purchased separately but it's also part of the game's season pass. If gamers decide to buy the season pass, they will not only get the Post-Launch DLC but also the 35 exclusive metallic costumes as an extra bonus.

According to Segmentnext, Akuma character from the "Street Fighter" series will be included in the "Tekken 7" story. Producer Katsuhiro Harada, however, said that Akuma's story will be connected with Mashima conflict, revealing that he won't become a part in "Tekken 7" Post-Launch DLC as the new guest characters.

In addition to the release of "Tekken 7" Post-Launch DLC, the game's producer, Katsuhiro Harada, has also said that the game's plot will be much darker than ever, serving as the finale to the Mishima clan saga. The feud between Heihachi Mishima, Kazuya Mishima, and Jin Kazama will be revealed in details, providing answers to questions that fans have had for years, as reported by Attackofthefanboy.

Bandai Namco has confirmed that "Tekken 7" won't feature any kind of Cross-Play support due to the first-party policies of the consoles. "Tekken 7" is scheduled to release on June 2, 2017, for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 so players have plenty of time to save money to purchase the "Tekken 7" Post-Launch DLC.
