It was recently revealed by a hacker that Apple's iPhone 7 can run on a Windows XP which can be made without doing any jailbreak in the iPhone device; the hacker installed the Windows XP through an emulator. The hacking result was shown in a video that was posted last March 11 under the name of Hacking Jules on a YouTube channel.
The said hacker installed an emulator using Xcode that allows the process without having any task for jailbreaking the iPhone 7. Apple's iPhone 7 Windows XP hack was achieved that the iPhone had the fusion A10 chip equipped inside it. This chip features Apple current flagship smartphone to be one of the fastest on today's smartphone markets which allow older operating systems such as the Windows XP to run on any Apple device.
According to WCCF Tech, the classic operating system was undeniably slow to use on the iPhone 7 despite having the said A10 Fusion chip along with 2GB of RAM. The hack runs on an emulator that's why it's still in a very poor performance of the Windows XP in the iPhone 7.
Here's how. First, the operating system isn't regularly run on an iPhone 7; a Xcode was used via emulator then load it into a Windows XP ROM in your device. Don't use any OS; it's not advisable if you ever manage to watch the video. As making the Windows XP on an iPhone 7, moving the mouse around on the display can be done by using on-screen handheld gestures.
Basically, don't expect the desktop OS to work perfectly on a smartphone level. There are few issues like a total slow performance whenever Windows XP runs on an iPhone 7, as noted by Redmond Pie. It was remarkably done that an emulated hack was used to make things possible on an Apple device that will run Windows XP.
Not only is the iPhone 7 that runs Windows XP the only popular device that was hacked. The 19-year-old hacker Luca Todesco, a guy who was recognized in hacking numbers of iPhones before recently claimed that the Nintendo Switch is hackable.
