The launched of Nintendo Switch achieved the successful with its record-breaking sale. Everything was doing well until the shortage of stock worldwide comes on its way.
Nintendo Switch was one of the most awaited consoles from Nintendo Company. With its exciting number of games offered, there is no doubt that it becomes a hit in the market. However, after the successful opening and continue number of sales, low of stock become the problem.
From GameSpot, UK retailer GameSeek said that the sale of Nintendo Switch was down to zero. "The online shop wasn't able to sell any more units of the console over the weekend as it simply "wasn't on sale" managing store director, Stephen Staley stated.
The result of the unexpected issue, many of the buyers made their last resort to purchase the Nintendo Switch at eBay with the price of $400. Amazon and GameStop retailers were out of stock either. A $600 bundle that soon to unveil on April 16 is the only available from GameStop. Some of the retailers got the new shipments of Nintendo Switch but as what expected, it were all sold like the initial pre-order batch.
Number of analysts recommended that Nintendo Company must resolve the problem of shortage of Nintendo Switch's stocks in order to satisfy the demands of their consumers as soon as possible. Same mistakes happened before in Wii U, NES Mini and Amiibo Range. Retailers have their hope that Nintendo Company will able to re-stock the Nintendo Switch before April. "At this time we have not received official confirmation of the next stock delivery of this product from Nintendo. Please pre-order and we will notify you of your delivery date once the delivery of stock has been confirmed." GameSpot posted on their website.
On the other hand, there are still good news despite the issue of Nintendo Company. "Mario Kart 8" deluxe has to release on April 28 while "Splatoon 2" may be launch any time soon. These two are one of the exciting yet intriguing Nintendo Switch exclusives. In addition, "The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild" may be one of them and through this, Nintendo Switch will continue to hold its record-breaking sale. Many of the retailers and buyers were hoping that Nintendo would take an immediate action to regain the stocks to feed the demands of the market.
