Despite the fact that "Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age" isn't due out until July 11th, 2017 in North America and Europe, Square Enix has released some details about the two special edition of its new installment game. The two special editions are the Collector's Edition and the Limited SteelBook Edition which can be pre-ordered exclusively from the Square Enix Online Store. Unlike the Collector's Edition, the Limited SteelBook Edition can be pre-ordered at selected retailers.
The Collector's Edition of the "Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age," will cost around $200 or $199.99 to be exact. The package will provide the premium quality items, including the game copy, original soundtrack, SteelBook art exclusive to Collector's Edition, exclusive 'Judge Magisters" Bust set (Featuring busts of judges Bergan, Drace, Gabranth, Ghis, and Zargabaath), exclusive 6 card art set (Consisting of Vaan, Ashe, Basch, Fran & Balthier, Penelo, and World of Ivalice), and background music DLC which includes a digital code to unlock Original Soundtrack Background Music in-game, as reported by Slashgear.
If the Collector's Edition price is way beyond the budget, Gamers can pick up the Limited SteelBook Edition of "Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age." That package is priced at $50 or $49.99, providing players with the game copy, limited edition SteelBook featuring artwork by Akihiko Yoshida, and Background Music DLC (Including a digital code to unlock the Original Soundtrack Background Music in-game).
There are the Standard Edition and PlayStation Store Pre-Order Bonuses that Players can get from store shelves or PlayStation Store. IGN gives out a report that "Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age" Standard Edition only consists of the copy of the game and the First-Print run-exclusive reversible coversheet with artwork by Akihiko Yoshida. This package has the same price with the Limited SteelBook Edition, only without the Art Book.
Gamers that decide to pre-order the game via PlayStation Store will get pre-order bonuses, including four-track music compilation composed by Hitomi Sakimoto (Unlocks on release date) and "Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age" PlayStation 4 static theme (Unlocks instantly). According to Gematsu, Square Enix also adds new features into the game, giving players the flexibility to switch between the original and re-orchestrated background music in the settings, speed up the game by two or four times if L1 button is pressed, and display the map over the screen by pressing the L3 button.
Through all those packages of its re-mastered edition of "Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age," Square Enix aims to milk money as much as possible. There's still 4 months left before the release of "Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age" so gamers can start saving their money to purchase one of the package editions available.
