With the Nintendo Switch officially out, gamers are now interested in what games are available for the latest game console offering. There are a lot of games announced for the Nintendo Switch and most are hoping to get see classic titles join the fray. One classic game title from the Nintendo WiiU time has done just that – “Super Smash Bros.”.

The addition of “Super Smash Bros.” to the Nintendo Switch game lineup was revealed no less by Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime during an interview via Facebook live stream. “Super Smash Bros” is one of the tops and best-selling titles the company has had so it is a no-brainer to find it being re-inserted to the latest game console offering of the Japanese company. The game sold more than 5 million copies on the Wii U so it would not be surprising to see the Nintendo Switch garner the same.

Aside from the “Super Smash Bros.” announcement, it also means that other classic game titles may possibly follow. Already confirmed are “Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild”, “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe” and “Super Mario Odyssey”. Aside from the game titles, Fils-Aime reveals that the Nintendo Switch may be more than a mere game console.

He reveals that they are also in current talks with Netflix and Amazon to add some streaming content in the future, Game Spot reported. Fils-Aime didn’t provide a target date on when this would happen, terming it as simply in “due time”. With other consoles like the Sony PlayStation expanding their range, this could be a positive addition to the fortunes of the Nintendo Switch.

While there seems to be a certain development roadmap that Fils-Aime is following for the Nintendo Switch, the immediate concern would be its primary function which is gaming. The console launched last March 3 and was branded as Nintendo’s fastest-selling console of all time.
