Niantic continues its drive to keep “Pokemon GO” players hooked. The recent update included 80 pocket monsters from Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver, keeping augmented reality players occupied for now. But what happens once most players fill up those Pokedex slots or get tired of recurring spawns?
There are key features most expected for “Pokemon GO” still missing. That includes the Pokemon trading and player vs. player feature which ran wild in the grapevine last year. In an interview with Wired, Niantic CEO John Hanke mentioned that more updates are on the horizon for “Pokemon GO”. While that should be good news, he did (sort of) touch on the state of an old issue which is the “Pokemon GO” Legendary critters.
Most continue to prowl the whereabout of “Pokemon GO” Legendary critters like “MewTwo”, “Mew”, “Articuno” and “Zapdos”. The past year saw nothing more than baseless claims and Hanke hardly expounded on it with the interview, Mobile Syrup reported. The state of that seems to be nothing more than in the planning stages though some take it in a positive light.
For most, the fact that Hanke gave a few words on the “Pokemon GO” Legendaries is a big thing. But actually seeing them or at least when and where to expect them is another. In all, Hanke hardly gave credible information to cheer about.
Further, the Niantic CEO emphasized on continued improvements for “Pokemon GO”. On point, there are certainly lots to do to make the game perform smoothly. When “Pokemon GO” Gen 2 came out, most are aware of the server hiccups which forced the Niantic team to clean up the scripts. That possibly included traces of the codes for the “Pokemon GO” rares, meaning they may (or may not) return with new scripts moving forward.
