Ahead of the March 28 launch of gothic fantasy game “Dark Souls III: Ringed City” for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, Bandai Namco shared on Wednesday several new screenshots from the expansion of the game. The developer posted the images on Facebook. It posted some of the new environments that players would explore and also some of the inhabitants that look nasty.

New Weapons. Bandai Namco also displayed some of the new weapons from the new “Dark Souls III: Ringed City” DLC that players could use, GameSpot reports. In the gameplay trailer released by Bandai Namco in February, some of the different locations and encounters were revealed. One of the encounters teased was a boss fight against a giant winged beast.

The developer, in a press statement, says that “Dark Souls III: Ringed City” would have players run after the Slave Knight Gael until the end of the world while he searches for the Dark Soul of Humanity. The soul is the “nebulous object from which the series gets its title but which has long gone without too much expansion,” A.V. Club quotes.

Season Pass For $25. Priced at $15, “Dark Souls III: Ringed City” could be acquired to include a season pass for $25. The pass gives access to Ashes of Ariandel, the first expansion. Also in February, Bandai Namco released a patch for “Dark Souls III” to fix various bugs, including an issue which allowed gamers to be invaded at boss fights.

According to Techno Buffalo, “Dark Souls III: Ringed City” is the last of the game’s franchise as Bandai Namco moves away from its breakthrough hits. It would be the last in FromSoftware’s revolutionary series. But there would be a new version of the game, “Dark Souls III: The Fire Fades Edition” that would include two DLCs to launch on April 21, 2017.
