The Huawei P10 has started to create some noise with reports that the smartphone is now up for pre-order in Spain. Local Barcelona stores have started taking in pre-orders and even include a special gift in the form of a free Huawei Watch 2 if placed before March 15.
For those who are not able to afford a straight-up purchase, the Huawei P10 can even be bought using a 20-month financing scheme, GSM Arena reported. Aside from Spain, the Netherlands is also starting to offer the Huawei P10 as well. But the region that could be first to offer the device may be Germany.
A silver variant of the Huawei P10 is already available from online store Sparhandly. It costs €599 sans contract and lower than the recommended price by the Chinese phone manufacturer as mentioned in another report from GSM Arena. But the deals get sweeter for subscribers opting to get one via contract. The upfront payment is only €1 with the rest depending on the plan they choose. For folks who want other colors, the black, Prestige Gold model and Dazzling Blue variants will only be available starting April 18.
Regardless of the shade, customers will get the same Huawei P10 sporting the same specs. For those who want a refresh, the Huawei P10 will sport a 5.1-inch 1080p touch screen, bank on a Kirin 960 chipset, sport a Leica dual rear 20 MP camera, a front-facing 8 MP selfie-shooter, a 3,200 mAh battery and come with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, Forbes reported.
The Huawei P10 improves on the P9, doing away with the square corners and replacing it with rounded corners. This should make the latest flagship more comfortable to carry around, not to mention boasting of a hyped camera that should appease the photo-snapping enthusiasts. With Samsung still missing in the smartphone segment, this could be the best time ever for Huawei to make its move up.
