People who want to own an iPhone 7 but are tied up to a plan for another smartphone with another carrier have a way out. T-Mobile is offering a free iPhone 7 to people willing to move from another carrier. The offer covers those who have a number from another carrier with an eligible device for a trade-in and sign up with T-Mobile One with Unlimited Data Plan.
Eligible Devices
Those who agree to T-Mobile’s offer would be offered a prepaid MasterCard and credit for their eligible device used for paying off the device’s balance. According to Techno Buffalo, phones from iPhone 6 are considered eligible devices. If they want at least a free iPhone 7 or a phone with a higher GB configuration, they must pay the difference.
If they do not prefer a free iPhone 7 but prefer an iPhone 7 Plus, they would pay $100 after a trade-in of a qualifying device. Once they sign up for T-Mobile’s improved One plan at a retail store, they would get their iPhone at lower down payment, plus credit from their old smartphone. The prepaid MasterCard would be sent by mail after online registration within six to eight week and the new subscriber could apply the amount on the card to the remaining cost of the finance agreement covering 24 months, according to Digital Trends.
Up To 12 Phones
Since the offer of a free iPhone 7 or other iPhones is up to 12, a family or small business could make the switch for the entire group. But they have to act fast since the T-Mobile offer is only until March 16. It could also be combined with other recent deals of T-Mobile such as the addition of another line at no extra cost for accounts with at least two lines.
PC Mag adds that the free iPhone 7 offer of T-Mobile came after the carrier added HD video streaming and 10GB of high-speed mobile hotspot to its One Plan.
