‘League of Legends’ Update: No More Cheats, Hacks, & Script In the Game As Riot Win A Case Against A Certain Site

Riot has been awarded in a huge amount of $10 million, the creator of "League of Legends." The company won a court case that was filed against LeagueSharp; the creator of a scripting and bot service that let players use cheats in "League of Legends" matches.

"League of Legends" Riot Company had filed first last year's August and concluded in January. According to Kotaku, the court has recently ordered a ban on the official website of LeagueSharp which Riot has the power to terminate the site.

In "League of Legends," LeagueSharp allow its subscribers at an unfair advantage in any "League of Legends" matches whom they can use hacks, cheats, and scripts to easily manipulate the game. These led the complaints of Riot against LeagueSharp in which the three founders of the site and a Peru-based Shell Company has allegedly thrown off Riot.

Riot's complaint last August stated that the LeagueSharp site put cheats and hacks into their game "League of Legends" for a registration fee of $15. In just a month players can boost their character's level which is only $50 for 30 days. This violates Riot Company's servers which allow "League of Legends" players to use cheat instead of a fair game. The Lawsuit accuses LeagueSharp that they also advised players on how to spread those hacks and cheats making the game not fun anymore.

LeagueSharp violated "League of Legends" DMCA for they evaded Riot Company's anti-cheating software. Recently, United States District Judge Ronald S.W Lew sealed the injunction and settlement in favor of the Riot Company by awarding them a winning $10 against LeagueSharp.

According to Dot Esports,LeagueSharp gained massive subscribers because of its offer with an affordable price hack in the game "League of Legends." It was estimated that the site was earning almost hundreds of thousands in revenue every month in dollar currency! In addition to LeagueSharp's violation, the site also attacked different "League of Legends" servers along with giving leaks about current Riot employees.
