‘The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild’ News: Walmart Still Has Stock Of Newly Launched Action-Adventure Game

While the limited Dell stock of newly released Nintendo action-adventure video game “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” has ran out, the special edition of the game is still available. However, the $99 Nintendo Switch version of the game is also out of stock in the largest retailer in the U.S. But Walmart has three versions of the much-anticipated game that players have been waiting for since 2013.

3 Remaining Versions

According to Destructoid, Walmart has three remaining versions of the game which follows Link, the amnesiac protagonist who woke up after a century of sleep when he heard a mysterious voice that told him it would guide Link to victory over Calamity Ganon. These are the $59.99 “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” Nintendo Switch Physical edition, Nintendo Switch Digital/Physical edition, and Wii U Digital/Physical edition. What is out of stock even in Walmart is the $99 Nintendo Switch edition.

“The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” launched on Friday, March 3, 2017, after a two-year wait. Nintendo announced the game in 2013 supposed to be released as a Wii U exclusive in 2015. But Nintendo delayed it for two more years to serve as a launch title for the Nintendo Switch, made available to gamers on the same day.

Critics’ Choice

Critics call “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” as the greatest video games ever released. Among the things that game experts like about it is its open-ended, physics-driven gameplay which encourages player experimentation. Others called it a landmark title when it comes to open-world game design, although there are some issues with its technical performance.

There is a $130 edition of “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” which comes with a master sword statue. However, Destructoid reports that most of this edition has been scalped and snapped up within minutes went the collector’s item went on sale weeks ago. Nintendo says Walmart has the Special Edition that could be pre-ordered by visiting www.nintendoeverything.com. It is the same version as the Master Edition, except it lacks the Master Sword statue.
