Samsung Slashes Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro Price In India

South Korean tech company Samsung has a good news for their users in India. The new Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro would be cheaper now in India.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro would be sold now to the Indian market at INR 29,900 or $447. It is slashed down from its original price of INR 32, 490 or around $486. It was announced at a local event last March 1. According to Mobile Price Watch, the offer is also lower than the price given in US market, which is also $480.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro was officially made in China last March and it is going to have a wider international release. At first, the company is not planning on releasing the smartphone beyond the Chinese market.

At some point, they have changed their mind and decided that the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro smartphone should make its way to Malaysia in June this year. After that, they would make their way in India.

Even if the price is slashed down, the specs would still be the same. The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro would still sport a 6-inch, FullHD, Super AMOLED panel, along with 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a massive 5,000 mAh battery.

Looking at the camera features of the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro, it would have a slicker quality compared to the previous versions. The phone would have a 16MP rear unit and an 8MP front shooter.

It also measures with 161.7 x 80.9 x 7.9 mm and it would weigh 210g. The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro would also run in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Color options for the phone include gold, black, and white.

The Mobile Indian has also reported that its other specs. Its other features are 16-megapixel autofocus camera with f1.9 aperture, OIS and LED flash in its rear panel, while an 8-megapixel camera with f1.9 aperture is in its front. The smartphone also offers a fingerprint scanner.

NDTV has reported that the phone would be live on Flipkart. It would be available this Friday.
