The latest PlayStation Plus March 2017 free games lineup has been officially confirmed by Sony. Sony has announced what subscribers can expect to see this month, as the March's free PlayStation Plus games are just some days away from now.
In the March 2017 lineup of PlayStation Plus, there is a total of six games with cross-buy support getting PS4 owners a total of three games: "Tearaway Unfolded," "Disc Jam," and "Lumo," according to Game Spot. "Disc Jam" is a hybrid between air hockey and tennis, where players attempt to retrieve a glowing disc all while using abilities and defending their end zones.
The "Disc Jam" supports one-on-one or two-on-two gameplay using a variety of characters with unique abilities. Disc Jam is the latest release but it will be free right out of the gate for Plus members. Sony also held a beta test for it recently.
In addition to Media Molecule's adorable platform-adventure game and the brand new air hockey/tennis hybrid game from High Horse Entertainment, a post on PlayStation Blog also confirmed that PS Plus subscribers will get "Severed" and "Lumo" for PS Vita in the Free Games line up of March 2017. The latter of the game is also available for PS4 via crossbuy, IGN learned.
March 2017 PlayStation Plus Free Games Lineup for PS4 includes "Disc Jam," "Lumo" and "Tearaway Unfolded." For PS3 it includes, "Earth Defense Force 2025" and "Under Night: In-Birth". PlayStation Vita will feature "Lumo" and "Severed" games.
The PlayStation Plus Free Games lineup for February 2017 currently includes "LittleBigPlanet 3" and "Not a Hero" on PS4, "Starwhal" and "Anna", Extended Edition on PS3, while "Ninja Senki DX" and "TorqueL" on PS Vita.
However, there are generally six games to download across the PS4, PS3, and PS Vita, though Sony has teased in the past that they could start including PlayStation VR games also. The new games for March 2017 on PlayStation Plus will be available to download and play on March 7, which is the first Tuesday of the month.
