“Pokemon Go” remains a big hit with augmented reality gamers, most conitnuing their journey in catching those elusive pocket monsters in the wild. While the Pokemon spawns are believed to be distributed evenly there are certain times when they are at their peak. Hence, some may have come across a certain period when spawns are plenty and times when they are scarce.
Thanks to an analysis made on 500,000 Pokemon encounters, it was found that the most number of spawns are at their peak at 9:00 p.m. EST and lowest at 12:00 a.m. EST, Pokemon Go Hub reported. The spawn rate lasts for about two minutes. Depending on where one is situated and how often one plays the “Pokemon Go”, the strange thing is that the peak time is when encounters drop.
For some, the frequency of “Pokemon Go” encounters may not matter. The case could be different for the hardcore gamers, particularly the ones who want to catch all those available pocket monsters. With “Pokemon Go” Gen 2 out, many have embarked on a frantic rush to capture those Johto region critters, a journey that could take some time. A complete list of those pocket monsters can be seen over at IGN.
Other than that, “Pokemon Go” players are holding John Hanke to his revealtion, referring to more updates coming out later this year. Missing right now are the Pokemon trading feature as well as the player vs. player battle system. Hanke took time out at the Mobile World Congress 2017 to shed more light on what to expect, Fortune reported.
According to Hanke, a new version will be launched later this year plus some other projects. He didn’t get into specifics, meaning “Pokemon Go” players may just have to go with the flow and see what exactly Niantic has up its sleeves. With most busy playing Gen 2, Niantic may have bought itself enough time.
