After delivering an awesome game titled "Shadow of Mordor" in 2014, another "Lord of the Rings" game is here. "Middle-Earth: Shadow of War" is set for release on August 22 in North America and August 25 in Europe. Like its predecessor, this game will feature elements that can be expected from Middle-Earth in an epic fashion.

"Middle-Earth: Shadow of War" takes place sometime between "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings." It will be picking up right where "Shadow of Mordor" left off where Talion and Celebrimbor were forging a new Ring of Power that they plan to use against Sauron. Later in the game, this pair will end up in a throwdown with Sauron himself for the whole Middle-Earth.

The official trailer for "Shadow of Mordor" shows the two facing more than the obvious struggles of waging a fight against Sauron. It looks like they will have to battle the corruption that comes with the ring of power along the way. Sauron is looking as fierce as ever and, at this point, he still is at his evil peak. This only means that an exciting and epic adventure is ahead for these two heroes.

IGN reports that this announcement by Warner Brothers of their latest game was done in response of a retailer leak. "Shadow of Mordor" will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows 10. This game is developed by Monolith Productions and features an original storyline in the Middle-Earth universe.

The press release for "Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor" confirms earlier rumors regarding its story content. Players will be wielding a new Ring of Power and will confront the deadliest in Middle-Earth. Of course, this includes Sauron and Nazgul in an epic battle for the whole of Middle Earth.

Notable improvements include an expanded version of the Nemesis system. In "Shadow of Mordor," dynamically orcish officers that reacted to their encounters with Talion have been created. Warner Brothers had promised that in "Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor" the environment itself be shaped by the player's game.
