T-Mobile Would Give Free Line Of Service To Users As A Present

Feb 28, 2017 05:49 AM EST

Good news for users of T-Mobile. As a result of the company working hard for their image for the past few years and getting sweet results from its Uncarrier approach, the company would offer a free line of service.

The offer would be given this Wednesday, March 1, to all the current customers of T-Mobile, as reported by Andrew Grush of Android Authority. T-Mobile users could avail this if they are on a qualifying plan.

This qualifying plan includes T-Mobile ONE, Simple Choice, and Simple Choice No Credit plans. In short, users with two or more current line would be eligible for the promo.

T-Mobile Newsroom press release has illustrated a scenario of the free line to clear up the confusion. The illustration shows that if a T-Mobile user is using two lines for T-Mobile ONE for $100, it would mean that the user could have three lines for the same price. This would be effective if one would sign up while the promo is active.

There have been other carriers offering free lines as a promo or as a gift to their loyal users but T-Mobile is different. Natt Garun of The Verge has reported that T-Mobile could actually have a step further in making these lines permanent.

It means that if a user adds the extra line, he or she could continue to receive it free. It is effective as long as the user is using an eligible T-Mobile plan in a good standing.

"The offer is available for a limited time, but be aware that it may take up to two bill cycles for the credit to show up. Although T-Mobile says in "most cases," credit will show up on the first bill, you may be required to front the charges then get credited back in the following month," The Verge article read.

CEO John Legre said that the free line promotion could also apply to the new plan. It is available to current and new customers.
