iOS 10.2.1 Jailbreak Stops at Hackers' Updates as iOS 10.3 Beta 1 is Launched

Apple's iOS 10.2.1 jailbreak is literally facing a blank wall of succumbing to zero updates as hackers lie low after uncovering its security vulnerability.  But Apple has recently launched iOS 10.3 beta 1 as it no longer allows downgrade to iOS 10.2.1.

However, as Apple stopped its updates for iOS 10.2.1 users are watching for the next moves of outsider hackers like the young Luca Todesco. Many users liked iOS 10.2.1 and they wanted a total fix of the operating system.

Todesco was the first who exposed the weaknesses of iOS 10.2.1 last year but he recently left a word he would lie low. It does not mean however he would not spring a surprise for updates for iOS 10.2.1 and maybe for iOS 10.3 if this would also hit quirks.

iOS 10.2 is liked by many users after series of security updates and bug fixes were released but it just stopped at iOS 10.2.1. Still, choosy users' worries persist despite the improvements and fixes.

There was sort of humiliation when YoYuppe uploaded a video last Dec. 28, 2016, showing a simple way how to hack iOS 10.2.1 beta 1 and 2. It was sort of embarrassment to iOS developers.

The palatable news lately is that Todesca might be working on a list of Apple devices for compatibility with Yalu. The more Todesca fixes for iOS 10.2.1 jailbreak are being awaited by users.

After the launch of the iOS 10.2.1 betas, problems were known from iPad, iPhone and iPod touch users. They complained about bugs and issues relating connectivity, installation issues, battery life and others. There is a so-called 30% battery bug affecting iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

Apple has to roll out more updates for iOS 10.2.1 but this is no longer possible. It has no other recourse but to launch the iOS 10.3. And so the iOS 10.3 public beta 2 was launched January 2017, and weeks after, users have been talking about its Theater Mode function, the CarPlay's Maps app and others.

Initial reviews said that the speed of iOS 10.3 beta 1 compared to iOS 10.2.1 is a major improvement with the boot speed taking only 3-7 seconds and the launch of apps takes a short time. This is due to the switch to APFS file system. Users and reviewers are still hooked to knowing more about iOS 10.3 beta 1.
