Asus has introduced the Zenfone Live, which is actually a reintroduced name of the Zenfone 3 Go that leaked just last week. The specs of this new mobile phone might not impress a lot of people, but its selling point is its BeautyLive feature. This would let a user stream live through the 13 megapixel main camera or the 5 megapixel front camera while applying different beauty filters.

The main camera of the Zenfone Live has a 1.4µm pixel size, a f/2.0 aperture and an 82-degree field of view. As for the front camera, it has a soft LED selfie flash feature. A lot might ask where the "Live" part of its name comes from, and the answer is that a user can broadcast to social networks with no effort at all through its BeautyLive feature. This experience is enhanced by the smartphone's dual MEMS microphones which work effectively to eliminate background noise and enhance voice pickup, reports GSM Arena.

The Zenfone Live is also great for those who are not yet too comfortable going live on social media. It has an app called Beautification that would let a user edit facial features in a very detailed manner. One could make his or her skin appear smoother, make eyes look smaller or bigger, or make someone appear much thinner.

In the official website of Asus, it is revealed that the Zenfone Live brilliant display is embodied perfectly through tough glass that is masterfully crafted at the edges to create a perfectly ergonomic curve that fits hands easily. This ergonomic curve flows all the way to the back and this device has a 75 percent screen to body ratio. This device is available in three colors which are Navy Black, Rose Pink and Shimmer Gold.

The Zenfone Live has a 5" IPS display that is HD capable and has a Snapdragon SoC, although the exact chipset has not yet been revealed. RAM is just at 2GB although that is already more than enough considering that this phone is not primarily sold to those who multitask or take on heavy games. It also comes in either 16 or 32GB of storage, but if the device is registered with a Google account, one would get 100GB of Google Drive space for free.
