The first Apple Watch was released in 2015 followed by last year's Apple Watch Series 2. It was expected that the Apple Watch Series 3 will be launch this year. The info on this device has been rare lately but fortunately, Droid Report gathered some details.

According to Digi Times, the Apple Company might now use a glass-film touch display in the upcoming Apple Watch Series 3 instead of a Touch on Lens (TOL) panel. TPK Holding, the maker Apple's G/G two pieces of glass panels which are now quitting over it production for the smartwatch because of its deficiency in raising profits to make enough screen displays that can match the production of Apple Watch.

TPK Holdings has been facing a dilemma in terms of increasing its production rates for TOL panels as Apple Watch Series developers created a much more complicated touch sensors system; the glass supplier isn't capable of matching Apple's new technology. Due to their low production of labor, this results to an end of the contract with the Apple Company.

Apple has now decided to go with a glass-film touch display which uses two pieces of glass on the display for the upcoming Apple Watch Series 3. The company has now collaborated to Biel Crystal Manufactory in Hong Kong and General Interface Solution based in Taiwan to make the glass film for the upcoming new smartwatch. As stated by the reports from Gadgets, Apple Watch Series 3 is predicted to be launched in the second half of 2017.

The upcoming smartwatch from Apple was made with an extended battery life for a sufficient uses and advantages on the wearable. Apple Watch Series 3 is also predicted to be made with a cellular connectivity always-on display, sleep tracking, and a better battery life which is now Apple is working with Samsung and LG. According to Mac World, the Apple Company is now collaborating to produce a thinner OLED display for the second-generation Apple Watch to fit a larger battery.
