Barely a week away from its purported launch at the annual Mobile World Congress, LG G6 is surely gearing up to be one of the definitive devices to watch out for in the imminent event. This anticipation is now proven as its official design has now been leaked, courtesy of the most noted leakster in the business.
As cited by Technobuffalo, reliable leakster Evan Blass took to his Twitter account and published the official renders of LG G6. The forthcoming flagship device from the South Korean tech company is shown to be featuring a big front display that is adorned with minimal bezels and rounded out edges. In addition, the images have indicated that the upcoming unit is slated to sport a dual camera set up on its back; a dual LED flash is situated in between the cameras while the fingerprint scanner is placed a few centimeters below.
Moreover, LG G6 is also shown to be sporting a glossy black display, similar to that of Samsung Galaxy S7 which is made of glass. The unit's frame is likewise noted for its metal finish along with the familiar antenna bands that are made of aluminum. Meanwhile, the renders have also revealed that the device will be equipped with volume buttons on its left side while SIM-card slot will be housed on its right side.
LG G6 is also expected to house some of the most advanced features and specifications in the competition. This includes Qualcomm Snapdragon 821, 4GB of random access memory (RAM) and a Quad HD display. Android Authority has also rounded up the other features which comprise of an upgraded Quad DAC audio system, more superior than the previously released LG V20. The smartphone is expected to be powered by a massive, non-removable 3,200mAh battery.
LG G6 is also expected to come with a wireless charging functionality, a waterproof body, and the latest Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. LG G6 is speculated to be announced on Feb. 26 at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona. It is scheduled to be retailed a month or two after.
