“Pokemon Go” Gen 2 is already out and the recent days have seen the implementation of new features for the hit augmented reality game by Niantic. Most have already seen the new breed of creatures from Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver but the Special Items are of interest to some.
Among the special items a “Pokemon Go” player can get is the Evolution Stone. These are normally available via PokeStops and are considered rare. Some may have already gotten them but the next question is what to do with them.
Like other items, these “Pokemon Go” special items will have requirements. One of them is that the player must be at least level 10, the point where these Evolution Stones will be available when cashing in at PokeStops, Slash Gear reported. A reason pointed out with the player level requirement is to avoid game cheating measures with multiple accounts spinning PokeStops for special items which may be used for trading later on.
Once a “Pokemon Go” player gets hold of these Special Items, the next thing to ponder is what they have to offer. Among the stuff AR gamers can look forward to getting include the Sun stone, King’s Rock, Metal Coat, Dragon Scale and the Upgrade Item, CNet reported. There are eight Pokemon that can be evolved using these items with Pokemon Candy. Among the evolutions, possible include Bellosom, Sunflora, Politoed, Slowking, Steelix, Scizor, Kingdra and Porygon 2.
With the new features for “Pokemon Go” Gen 2, players should be prepared for some issues. This includes game crashes due to the massive update, a question of balance for some pocket monsters (specifically Blissey) and unusual double spawning, Forbes reported. Like previous “Pokemon Go” updates these are to be expected though Niantic is likely to address all of it soon.
