People who would want to have an iPhone 7 with a different color could finally have a new choice besides from the existing ones. There is a rumor that Apple is currently working on making a red-colored iPhone 7.

Japanese blog Macotakara stated that a Barclays analyst is supporting this rumor. It could be possible that Macotakara and Barclays have heard the rumors from the same source.

In a report by Mac Rumors, it was kind of unclear if the rumor is actually referring to the new iPhone 7 option or an iPhone 7s. They said that it is more likely to be the latter.

In a report by Apple Insider, they suggest that the iPhone 7 red model would be shown to the public at the iPad launch event in the last week of March. They also said that it is only going to be the iPhone 7 and not the 7s.

In addition to the iPad Pro 2 announcement that would be held in March 2017, the iPhone SE will have 128 GB model added to the storage capacity variations. Currently, the iPhone SE only has the 16 GB and 64 GB variants.

News and updates about the iPhone SE front have not been hitting the headlines lately. Tech Investor News said that the model could appear to have been a hit but the lack of rumors of the update led to some people wondering if the SE could sustain itself outside India. The Barclays investment also suggests that if it will be a hit, considering the new storage tier being added to that.

If all of these are true, it could be suggested that Apple will not at least intent to continue catering the smaller form factor in the USA. It could mean that updates are less frequent than the larger models.

Various reports also show that Apple will announce in the March launch the year's latest iPads. There is a rumor that a near-immediate availability for most of the iPads.

There is also a rumor that the new 10.5-inch iPad Pro 2 would be announced first for availability in May. A supply-chain that was reported before suggested that this model could not be released in May but would be delayed until the second half of the year.
