But for "Pokémon GO" Gen 2 it's more on predicting on which "Hitmon" you will have, the method on how to evolve Tyrogue came from the main series games where everything has to do with its Defense, Attack and HP stats.

"Pokémon Gold and Silver" features Tyrogue evolution by focusing on its stats, for example, Tyrogue will evolve into Hitmonlee if its Attack is higher than its Defense, Tyrogue will evolve into Hitmontop if its attack is equal to its Defense, and it will evolve into Hitmonchan if its Defense is higher than its Attack. These methods are used by trainers in evolving Tyrogue in "Pokémon Gold & Silver," according to Otakukart.

As for "Pokémon GO," IMore explained that the current technique to evolve into Hitmonlee, Tyrogue's highest IV (Individual Value) must be its Attack, for Hitmontop Tyrogue's highest IV must be its HP, and to evolve Tyrogue into Hitmonchan, Tyrogue's highest IV must be the Defense.
