LG Invite Teaser “Play Begins” Presumably for G5

As participants to this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) which will be happening from the 22nd to the 25th of February in Barcelona, anticipate an even more awesome gadgets waiting to enthuse the roaring mobile market, LG comes up with an even mysterious notice.

Invites for a press event at the MWC are reportedly sent out to correspondents, and even if the said invite according to various reports does not contain much information, a number of speculations are already filling up the headlines. A series of information has been floating regarding LG's next flagship building the anticipation on the expected revelation from company. With the coming MWC, it would be a sensible idea to have the next LG flagship’s debut at the said event.

LG’s invitation simply offers a time, date and location along with a picture of a music box and the words “play begins.” Pocket Lint remarks that the invite was sent for the “unveiling of its next flagship smartphone. A report from CNET confirms that LG already confirms this. LG sent out the usual "Save The Date" notice, along with an image of a green music box and a "Play Begins" teaser.”

Previous reports suggested the LG G5 will feature a “magic slot” for attaching “high-margin accessories.” It may also be possible that it will be at the same bottom-facing opening where the battery allegedly comes out. Another report reveals that the handset will come with a full metal casing. Full metal means that the entire inner as well as outer appearances of the smartphones’ frame are created from metallic material. The new metal handset will allegedly feature a removable battery with a unique slide-out design. The flagship phone may also pack a Snapdragon 820 chip.
