NanoTech Adds 100s of Games to 4K Streaming Media Player with OUYA

NanoTech Recently Added 100s of Games to 4K Streaming Media Player. The company announced last month  it has signed a worldwide software agreement with OUYA, Inc. that enables NanoTech’s award-winning Nuvola NP-1™ 4K Ultra HD streaming media player to have OUYA embedded and featured in the Nuvola User Experience. As part of the new OUYA Everywhere initiative, which aims to bring OUYA content to new platforms, the agreement allows NP-1 users to access hundreds of games, with more added each month.

Powered by NVIDIA® Tegra® 4 and compatible with the OUYA Wireless Controller, the Nuvola NP-1 delivers OUYA’s roster of titles into the living room, giving users a gaming experience optimized for large-screen TVs, and further expanding exposure to independent developers via the open platform. With the Tegra’s 72 powerful GPU cores and advanced rendering capabilities, games come to life just as the creators intended.

Both companies are focused on content designed for television playback. NP-1 users who have an OUYA Game Controller will be able to connect up to four controllers to enjoy multiplayer games.

The availability and pricing for OUYA will be embedded in the Nuvola NP-1 beginning this quarter. NanoTech’s multifunction Nuvola NP-1 4K Ultra HD streaming media player, the world’s first streaming media player that supports 4K Ultra HD content, is currently in production and will be available for new customers this quarter at $299. Measuring just 3½ in by 4 in, the Nuvola NP-1 features built-in Ethernet, state-of–the-art 2x2 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth communications to enable reliable connectivity with remotes, game controllers and many other devices --wirelessly or by connecting to the USB port.
