Google Shopping Express for Android is available at the Google Play Store. The Android app is currently only available for San Francisco and SF Peninsula only. User have the luxury of having everything they need delivered from local stores to their doorstep. Google Shopping Express is a service that lets the user shop stores -- including Target, Walgreens, Toys R Us, and more -- and get items delivered in just a few hours.
For users that sign up now and install the app, they can get a free membership with six months of free, unlimited same-day deliveries. Using the Android app is easy: fill cart with items, select where and when they should be delivered, and buy. If you have any questions or issues, Google Shopping Express also has a customer service team.
Google Shopping Express also recently expanded its California locations. All Bay Area delivery zones have been extended."This new service brings the speed of the Web to the real world by helping you shop your favorite local stores online — in a single place — and get what you need delivered the same day," Tom Fallows, Google Shopping Express product management director, stated in a recent blog post.
The service costs $4.99 per store order. Users who also sign up before Dec. 31 will be offered six months for free. Partners include local, national and regional stores. Local stores include Raley’s Nob Hill Foods, Palo Alto Toy & Sport, regional chains such as Walgreens, Whole Foods Market, national stores and more.
