Marvel's Battle of the Atom is Now Available for Android. The X-Men, back by popular demand has Marvel Entertainment, along with partnership with Aeria Mobile, recently announced the availability of Marvel’s "X-Men: Battle of the Atom" on AndroidTM 4.0+ devices. Android users will be able to play via the ap and access the cross-platform functionality. The X-Men: Battle of the Atom Android app features boss battles, comic storyline based events, original Marvel art, 45 character missions, different timelines and real-time battles for competition.
Expanding the user base is a key benefit to the new Android platform available. “Tremendous fan support has made 'X-Men: Battle of the Atom' one of the most popular new mobile games since our initial launch,” said JT Nguyen, Chief Operating Officer, Aeria Games. “Since then we’ve heard many requests to bring the game to the Android platform, and we’re glad to be able to expand our user base to include these enthusiastic players.”

What can be better than epic multiplayer 20-vs.-20 real-time battles on Android? The community-driven game features player alliances which are called X-Teams. There are XvX challenges which host X-Teams to play against each other for rewards and higher rankings. The X-Teams also can form alliances every month which entails classic storylines alongside its new comic panel art. New mutant recruits are also featured in the battles.
Marvel Entertainment is known for hits, its most recently noted Captain America movie featuring Johnny Depp wows box offices adding $26 million this past month in ticket sales. Attracting new users is also important for Marvel Entertainment. “With the launch of 'X-Men: Battle of the Atom' on Google Play, a whole new audience of Marvel fans can now experience the thrilling card battle action of this title,” said Peter Phillips, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Interactive and Digital Distribution at Marvel. “Aeria Games has done a great job in adapting the characters and storylines into an exciting mobile game.” Marvel hosts an already impressive roster of Android games.
