Samsung and Hightail (formerly YouSendIt) recently announced a new three-layered partnership last month in efforts to engage Samsung users to conduct work securely from wherever they may be. According to Hightail and Samsung, as the Snowden Effect continues to seep into businesses and consumer paranoia becomes a reality, it's never been more important for users to have complete control over their ideas and data with a solution that makes collaboration easy and streamlined.
Hightail’s Android app for Google Play enables users to securely upload, access and share documents, presentations, photography and videos. Wherever they are located, the Hightail app for Android makes it easy to stay connected with content in the cloud. Collaboration with colleagues at work by sharing folders and setting appropriate access permissions is also offered. The app allows changes made on a mobile device which are automatically synched across the cloud, mobile devices and the desktop are running Hightail.
