Android Intel Architecture interacts with the Android community through its development and projects to which Intel contributes. It is important for Android developers need to be aware of moving an application to Intel Android devices. Intel creates software tools which are made to analyze and optimize Android applications.

Android 3.2 on Intel Architecture enables Intel Atom based devices which create a powerful platform to develop high performance applications using exclusive features found only on Intel Architecture-based devices. The Android 3.2 is the latest platform version of the Google Operating System for Android tablet devices. Features of Android 3.0 (codenamed Honeycomb) was introduced to provide better support for large screen tablet devices.

Intel's Architecture for Tablets are expected to rapidly grow in share for 2014. This is due to increased operating loss on high NRE and contra revenue. The forecast for 2014 is expected to increase by 4%. Tablets have seen significant volume in its shipping beginning as of last year.

According to Intel, new features for the Intel Architecture will be exclusive for developers. Intel Architecture also offers enhanced security capabilities, energy efficient performance and WiDi. These include non-NDK apps, or Dalvik apps, which are platform-independent and will run on any Android hardware platform provided the hardware has all the features the app requires. NDK is used to build and use a native library.
