Google's Nest Deal Will Ensure A Mobile Advertising Future. The deal of the acquisition of Nest Labs for $3.2 billion proposed from earlier this year is a key indicator that Android operating systems are ideal for tablets, smartphones, connected cars, smart applications, wearables and hardware. Google’s Nest is in relations to IoT.

Google is poised to lead even more in  mobile. Google recently announced the Open Automotive Alliance. The Open Automotive Alliance is a partnership between technology and automotive companies. Such companies include: General Motors (GM), Honda Motor (HMC), Audi, Hyundai, and chipmaker Nvidia (NVDA). The alliance’s objectives are to customize Google’s popular mobile operating system for vehicles. Collaboration among automotive companies have been a trend with auto makers.

Google has a market cap of $211.4 billion. Google’s digital marketing focuses in video remarketing and dynamic retargeting technologies. Technologies include Google+, Google Analytics, mobile advertising, video ads on YouTube, and Google Adwords. Google has realized that they need to take responsibility for multiple revenue streams for content delivered through their platform, both the end-consumer paying and through advertising.

Google Android OS still remains a leader in the worldwide smartphone market. Android expansion has been focused in emerging. Android phones are anticipated to saturate in emerging markets such as Asia, India and Africa. These countries thrive on devices under $150. Small manufacturers  and older devices with older Android versions developed  by larger manufacturers such as Samsung and Motorola will also drive market growth.

Consumers have opportunities to be rewarded with various perks offered while at the same time being offered a different way to purchase outside of the traditional model. Flexible and convenient solutions allow the user to get the best out of user centric mobile apps. Android apps have great potential  in that they are designed to enhance user experience, engage customers and build mobile brand.
