Radiohead is experimenting with a mobile game available for iOS and Android. The alternative rock legend’s have published the mobile game with UK design firm, Universal Everything. The free Android app is called PolyFauna. PolyFauna features imagery, audio and artist inspirations by the song Bloom, which is from Radiohead's latest album.

PolyFauna is available for Android at the Google Play Store. “We have made an app called PolyFauna. PolyFauna is an experimental collaboration between us (Radiohead) & Universal Everything, born out of The King of Limbs sessions and using the imagery and the sounds from the song Bloom stated Radiohead in a recent website post.”

Below are instructions from frontman Thom Yorke:

"Your screen is the window into an evolving world.

Move around to look around.

You can follow the red dot.

You can wear headphones.

You can get some pretty strange looks on the train."

The app is derived and inspired from an interest in early computer life-experiments and the imagined creatures of the bands subconscious. Users can walk through abstract environments, follow the red dot and experiment. Polygonal life forms are also included which promote user interaction through the app. Thom Yorke stated PolyFauna "comes from an interest in early computer life-experiments and the imagined creatures of our subconscious".

In their most recent interview with NME, Thom Yorke and Nigel Godrich spoke to Zane Lowe before playing 'Judge Jury and Executioner'. They discussed the possibility of UK concerts, during which they confirmed that they would be playing shows in the UK and Europe, but that they didn't know when. "It's still being figured out," said Nigel. "It's on the table." When asked if they'd be playing this summer's Glastonbury Festival, Yorke said that they wouldn't. "We won’t have got our shit together by then," he explained. The band is currently on their ninth album. Radiohead released "The King of Limbs" in 2011 and toured the UK arena in the fall of 2013.

PolyFauna’s App for Android is available for free download at the Google Play Store.
