A new report that was released from Juniper Research forecasts that the number of employee owned smartphones and tablets used in the enterprise will exceed 1 billion by 2018. This is due to BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) trends redefining business connectivity with mobile consumer adoption. According to the report, 35% of the total installed base of consumer owned tablets and smartphones account for this prediction. Another key finding by Markets and Markets highlights Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) & Enterprise Mobility Market to be worth $284.70 Billion by 2019. Organizations still face challenges in adoting server resrouces and IT infrastructure.
