Google Play Newsstand launched last month on Android. Available at the Google Play store, Google Play Newsstand lets Android users discover more of the news and magazines they are loyal to within the app. There is also a Read Now feature where users have access to content via the Newsstand app. 30-day trials are also offered for many of the titles. Users can also bookmark favorite stories and the app give recommendations.

The application is available for Android tablets or smartphones. Users can catch up on anything from breaking news to articles. The app content is featuring audio, video and more. Users can also get both free and paid news plus subscribe to full HD magazines. Google Play Newsstand requires Android versions 2.2 and higher.
Key app features include: Explore categories like Arts & Photography, Business & Finance, Food & Drink and more and subscribe to topics tagged to the articles that interest readers most, Go Offline with any news edition, topic or magazine without missing a page, Bookmark news stories, All in one -- Google Play Newsstand lets users set Google Currents subscriptions and Google Play Magazines.
Google Play Newsstand offers more than 1,900 free and paid, full length publications that offer subscription to or follow. Features also include for Android readers a way to subscribe to the publications and topics while at the same time build their own newsroom. Partners include The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Esquire, Elle, Vanity Fair, People, Wired, Saveur, Huffington Post, The Guardian, and more.
