Smartphones will continue to dominate the market in 2014. Mobile phones across the world have adopted several new trends. Android will be present in more innovative devices, affordable smartphones, phablets or larger screens, slimmer designs and more. It is expected that over 90 percent of smartphones in India to run Android.

Below is a list of upcoming 2014 Android Phones:

Samsung Galaxy S5

The Samsung Galaxy S5 release date will be for 2014. The phone features Android 5.0 ‘Key Lime Pie.’ It is suggested to also feature an 2GHz Octa-core processor, featuring a 5.2 inch screen and offering easier navigation with multi-touch capacitive and a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. ‘Smart Eye Tracking’ and RAM 4GB are also integrated.

HTC Butterfly 2

HTC Butterfly 2 is featured as a waterproof device with a 5.2-inch display.The HTC Butterfly 2 will launch in January 2014. The device is said to include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad core processor, Android OS version in Asia.

LG G Flex

LG is pushing sophisticated technologies in 2014 with its LG G Flex curved mobile smartphone. The company is persistent in delivering consistent innovation to its devices such as smartwatches. LG is expected to integrate more of its own technologies into much smaller displays to compete with its rivals like Samsung, Apple and Google.

Sony Xperia Z2 Avatar is set to launch in 2014. The device will feature Android 4.4 KitKat OS, 5.2" and is rumoured to have an IGZO display, 3 GB of RAM, 2.3 GHz quad-core CPU and a one hour recharging battery technology.

Nokia Lumia 2020

The Nokia Lumia 2020 is set to release in 2014. The 8 inch tablet will launch in Q1. According to Digitimes, Nokia plans to expand its tablet portfolio by launching a new tablet, the Lumia 2020, and would be targeting the mid-range tablet segment with it, while it targets the high-end with the Lumia 2520.

HTC M8

HTC M8 is rumored to launch in 2014. The flagship Android smartphone name was suggested to be M8. The release is expected to be in Q1 2014. The tipster @evleaks, who has close to 85,000 followers stated the following, “HTC M8 unsurprisingly destined for AT&T, among others" and "All four carriers, end of Q1 '14."

Enterprise smartphone manufacturers are leading the market for Android in 2014.
