LG recently introduced "LG GATE," a Secure, Enterprise-Ready Mobile Platform designed for today’s BYOD Business. Platform diversity is an emerging trend among secure enterprise mobile platforms. The technology package offers Android users access to enhance security for mobile enterprise solutions. Users or employees can use the platform to obtain work resources while on-the-go. The LG GATE platform is set to launch first in the U.S.

Android Mobility Adoption
Mobility adoption has been increasing at a staggering speed. According to The Good Mobility Index report, the number of devices activated for the second and third quarters this year has found total device activations for the quarter rose nearly 60 percent from the same time last year. Android saw an increase of 30 percent and 27 percent of total activations respectively, in Q2 and Q3. Android enterprise application development is also growing rapidly.
