Sonic The Hedgehog: A Classic Comes To Android

Children of the 90’s rejoice! Sonic the Hedgehog is here for the Android, it is now available on Google Play for $2.99. According to the Play Store description it looks fairly promising already:

 The Sonic game which started it all is now optimized for mobile devices!

The game already has a 4.6 rating and 167 reviews, most largely positive. Many raters mentioned the nostalgia factor for their strong reviews. The game is re-mastered and optimized to play on mobile devices and can support Xbox controllers.

Sega may have lost the console wars and succumbed in its rivalry with Nintendo but perhaps they can make a comeback in mobile gaming.
