Samsung's in right now in the middle of rolling out the June security patch for the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. The latest upgrade includes all of the patches included in this month's release, as well as an overabundance of additional stability improvements.
Currently, one latest update has started hitting the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus smartphone. The update is arriving as software version G928FXXS3CQFA and currently hitting units in Europe. The latest update includes the Android security fixes for the month of June, GSM Arena reported.
As is the case with any security patch, the latest update for the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus contains fixes to the bugs and issues existing in the preceding build. For those in need of a refresher, the June update has 96 fixes for Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) in the Android operating system and 23 patches developed exclusively for Galaxy-branded smartphones, as noted by The Android Soul
The exact changelog for the latest update to Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus isn't yet available. The new update is currently being pushed over the air (OTA) that might hit the device anytime now that is of course.
Since it is a security patch, the size of the update should be small. So, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus user can either download it over cellular data or Wi-Fi. However, it is highly recommended the later since it allows you to avoid unnecessary data charges.
