Samsung Galaxy Note FE Release, Price And Specs Confirmed

Samsung is reportedly planning to release the refurbished edition of the popular series smartphone Galaxy Note 7 smartphone next month. As reported by the sources, the South Korean giant will launch the smartphone under the name the Galaxy Note FE and official sales of the smartphone are slated to start July 7.

South Korea's Yonhap news agency cited the industry source in the latest reports and claimed that Samsung will launch refurbished unit within some weeks from now. And starting sells of the refurbished Note 7 with latest batteries and updated software under the name Galaxy Note Fandom Edition (FE). The said device will be having a price tag of 700,000 Won, which is almost $620, according to the BGR.

Samsung has poised production and sales of its phablet series Galaxy Note 7 last year in the middle of reports that some of the devices caught fire while charging. However, the company claimed that it was due to the non-removable battery, as reported by CNET.

Accordingly, the refurbished device will be having a smaller battery capacity as comparing the originals, along with the latest software updates. Samsung has been planning to release the Note FE between criticism.

Specs and Features

Samsung Galaxy Note FE will be carrying strong feature sets and will offer a software experience similar to that of the flagships. Fresh reports say that certain changes are rumored on the upcoming smartphone.

Previously a #Chinese merchant has listed the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 for sale with two variants - first was with a 3200mAh battery and the other one was spotted with a large 3500mAh battery with some really lesser price tags.

Samsung Note FE will have the similar design as the Note 7 but will come with a smaller 3,200mAh battery, down from 3,500mAh on the original model. The latest decision to have a smaller battery is to avoid overheating issues. In addition, the device will come with a devoted #Bixby button, which was first seen on the #Galaxy S8 series. The Note 7 refurbished unit could also boast an improved S Pen.

All the rumors will be revealed officially on July 7, if above-mentioned reports are proven to be true. Latest reports also hint that the refurbished upcoming Note FE will be available in South Korea and some other countries only, however it will not release in the US or Europe.
