Last week, OnePlus 5 was the hot topic since the flagship is confirmed to launch on 20 June. Additionally, other big smartphones by Oppo and Samsung are launched recently.
OnePlus 5 is confirmed to boast dual-camera setup, the company established on Twitter. OnePlus has updated its header photo and tweeted an image of the rear side of the phone, revealing its design.
On the camera front, OnePlus 5 is tipped to be placed horizontally in the upper left corner with the LED flash next to them. The antenna band on the top side of the device is following the curvature of the back panel. OnePlus also mentions the edge is with a slightly different design, according to GSM Arena.
In other news, Oppo unveiled the R11 and R11 Plus flagships last week. Oppo didn't reveal the pricing for its latest flagships at their launch. Oppo has now revealed the pricing for both devices. While the Oppo R11 reportedly has been priced by the company at CNY 2,999, the Plus variant of the phone has been priced at CNY 3,699. Moreover, a special Heat Red color variant of the Oppo R11 has been priced by the company at CNY 3,199, as reported NDTV.
On the other hand, Samsung has to wrap off its latest Galaxy J5 (2017) and Galaxy J7 (2017) mid-rangers. The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) features a 5inch AMOLED HD display and is the smallest of the lot. Samsung has fitted its own octa-core Exynos 7570 processor with the support of 2GB RAM and the internal memory is 16GB. The device has a 13MP rear and a smaller 5MP front camera.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) has a 5.5inch display. The CPU has been retained as in the J5, but the RAM has been increased to 3GB. The Android Nougat has been loaded on all three phones in this 2017 J series iteration. Samsung's custom UI can be seen riding on the Android OS on all three phones as well. A larger 3600mAh battery decorates the Galaxy J7.
All the phones launched by Samsung are not being made available in the market at the same time. The Galaxy J5 is the one that will be sold immediately, in June itself. The Galaxy J7 will follow in July.
