Qualcomm already released the latest and most powerful Snapdragon 835 processor chipset. The chipset became the flagship standard for Android smartphones like Samsung, Xiaomi, Sony, HTC, Nubia, and upcoming OnePlus have used this powerful flagship, but it can't meet the market needs of the market totally. That is why, Qualcomm will release Snapdragon 836 processor next month to replace Snapdragon 835 processor, aiming at flagship market.
Most recently, there have been lots of rumors coming in news about the new SoC which could be released by Qualcomm. The new SoC which goes by the moniker Snapdragon 836 is an incremental successor to the Snapdragon 835.
However, today, a new leak has surfaced online on the Weibo, which suggests that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 might be released next month i.e. July, as noted by The Android Soul. This is not the first time which Qualcomm would release an incremental successor to its SoC. The previous year, Qualcomm released Snapdragon 821 SoC that is an incremental successor to the Snapdragon 820. This Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC was present in the new LG G6 and 2016's Google Pixel and Pixel XL.
According to reports, Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 processor will have no big adjustment as it still uses 10nm processing, 2.5GHz frequency, compared with Snapdragon 835 processor, 2.45GHz. In GPU, Snapdragon 835 GPU frequency will improve to 740MHz, the game performance will be upgraded too, as reported by GSM Arena.
Furthermore, there won't be many significant improvements in Snapdragon 836 as the best will be saved for Snapdragon 845. However, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 836, like the Snapdragon 835, which will be based on Samsung's own 10-nanometer FinFET process.
Presently Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor enjoys good feedback in performance and battery. SD 835 can not only bring low power consumption and more power saving, so it can be Snapdragon 836 will be better a little. Additionally, the Snapdragon 836 processor will be released in July, and Snapdragon 845 is on the will be released in January 2018.
Some reports are also claiming that Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Note8 will be the first to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 processor. Stay tuned to Droid Report form more update.
