Recently, OnePlus has now started rolling out the OxygenOS 4.1.5, an Android 7.1.1 Nougat-based update intended to its OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T smartphones. Along with this update, the company has added system push notifications that will allow users to receive information from the company itself. This update also includes several bug fixes associated with the Operating System (OS) such as VoLTE issue on certain Reliance Jio SIM cards.

GSM Arena reports noted that the company has updated the network settings for selected carriers. OxygenOS 4.1.5 also updated the OnePlus Community app to version v1.8 and updated the Android security patch level to May 1, 2017. This update also modifies the Wi-Fi no internet indication icon, as per the changelog shared on its forum.

The OxygenOS 4.1.5 latest update intended for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T brings along bug fixes for a storage issue present on third-party file managers, a connection issue associated with Android Auto, and a VoLTE issue on selected Jio SIM cards, as mentioned earlier. Notably, the update also brings along optimizations for the operating system in terms of battery, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS features.

According to Phone Arena, the OxygenOS 4.1.5 latest update intended for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T also comes with other optimizations including that to the proximity sensor, low light focus on the camera, and expanded screenshot. OnePlus Company claims that the latest update brings increased stability to the operating system as well.

On the other hand, OxygenOS 4.1.5 update is pushed OTA in stages, which means it will reach a small number of OnePlus 3 and 3T owners on the first day. It should be available to everyone in the coming days. OnePlus is all set to launch OnePlus 5 on June 20, 2017; it seems the company has definitely not lost the sight of its existing smartphones.

The update is expected to hit a small number of users today, and when it's confirmed that everything's worked as it should, OnePlus will begin a broader rollout. Stay tuned for more updates.
