Jun 08, 2017 05:10 PM EDT

Game Freak and the Pokémon Company will launch their newest "Pokémon Sun and Moon" installments for the Nintendo 3DS. Players can now witness the Nintendo Direct themed around Pokémon. This November will not only mark the one year anniversary for the latest 3DS Pokémon installments but also the release of "Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon."

However, players must aware that the "Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon" will offer an alternate story compared to the last year's releases. With that, Niantic will likely to see some of the similar locations within the Alola region. But that still remains to see how much of the past location will make an appearance in the upcoming Pokémon handheld installments.

According to IGN, it's been confirmed that there will be brand new Pokémon to discover, catch a train, and use. However, as of now, there are still no indications as to what we can expect in particular. The main Legendary Pokemon will be Lunala and Solgaloe which were the featured legendary Pokémon from "Pokémon Sun & Moon."

These two legendaries that will be featured in "Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon" will have a new mega-evolution though more information regarding the evolution has yet to be detailed. Additionally, there will be brand new features tossed into the upcoming video game, which will be unveiled at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2017.

The visuals of the "Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon" seem to be as a carbon copy of the previous "Pokémon Sun & Moon." Nonetheless, the graphics still hold up nicely according to what have seen on the Nintendo Direct.

According to BGR, the Nintendo Direct claimed that the two video games (Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon) would be released on the Nintendo 3DS. It was previously rumored online that these games will also launch on Nintendo's latest console release, the Switch. Unfortunately, that particular leak was a mistake as stated by a spokesperson for The Pokémon Company.

To sum it up, Niantic got small information that will likely come in the next few months for the Pokémon game franchise. Out of pure speculation, "Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon" will be launched thus coming to Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2017 with two new legendary Pokémon.
